This classic holiday drink is rich and moderately sweet; perfect for serving over ice. Loosely based on Alton Brown’s eggnog recipe.
The alcohol provides the product an extended shelf life. All bottles have a best-before date and must be refrigerated.
Ingredients : Unaged rum, milk, table sugar, egg yolk, spice, table salt.

As far back as the 14th century, europeans were mixing milk, eggs and alcohol to make a drink called posset. Variations of this eventually became known as eggnog here in North America.
